Flower Size 1.5 to 2" [3.75 cm to 5 cm]
Found in Hubei and eastern Sichuan China in humus rich places in thickets, open forests and grassy places at elevations of 1900 to 3200 meters as a medium szied, cool to cold growing terrestrial with 2, ovate, light green, red spotted, plicate, obtuse leaves that blooms in the spring on a terminal, erect, short, single flowered inflorescence.. This orchid is closely related to C margaritaceum.
