Common Name Hatschbach's Cyrtopodium [Brazilian Orchid Collector early 1900's]
Flower Size 1 3/8" [3.5 cm]
Found in Goias State, Brazil as well as northen Argentina in swampy areas at elevations around 400 meters as a large sized, cool to warm growing terrestrial with elongate, slightly ovoid to almost fusiform pseudobulbs carrying plicate leaves that blooms in the late winter and early spring on a basal, racemose, 8 to 15 successively flowered inflorescence
