Found in Sabah Borneo near Mt Kinabalu in lower mossy montane forestsat elevations of 1200 to 2000 meters as a small sized, warm to cold growing epiphyte with ovaoid, narrowing towards the apex pseudobulbs carrying a single, apical, er3ect, narrowly linear, obtuse, gradually anrrowing below into the elongate, petiolate base leaf that blooms on a terminal, erect then arching, 6" [15 cm] long, densely manyt flowered inflorescence with a 1.4" [3.5 cm] long peduncle and a 2.5" [5.2 cm] long rachis
