Found in the New Guinea on trees in montane forests at elevations around 1400 meters as a medium sized, warm growing epiphtye with elongate, flexuous, glabrous stems carrying many, elliptic-ligulate, aristate-apiculate, glabrous leaves that blooms in the late spring on a very short, fasciculate, 3 to 5 flowered inflorescence with ovate, aristate-apiculate bracts.
