Common Name The Ram-Like Dendrobium [refers to the twisted petals]

Flower Size 1.4 to 2" [3.5 to 5.1 cm]

Found in western New Guinea on trees near sea level in lowlands as a large to giant sized, hot growing epiphyte with cane-like stems carrying oblong, unequally bilobed apically leaves that blooms in the fall on 6 to 16" [15 to 41 cm] long, densely 25 to 40 flowered inflorescence carrying long-lasting, heavy textured flowers
