Found in the Solomon Islands, New Caledonia and Vanuatu in rainforests at elevations of 10 to 400 meters as a small to medium szied, hto growing epiphyte with clustered, ribbed, slightly basally swollen stems carrying distichous, oblong, articulated to the leaf sheaths below, unequally bilobed apically, light yellow green leaves that blooms on a lateral, solitary flowered, short inflorescence.
