Common Name The Bicol Dendrobium [An area of southern Luzon Philippines]

Flower Size 1" [2.5 cm]

Found in the Philippines on brightly lit tree trunks at elevations up to 500 meters as a small sized, hot growing epiphyte with pendulous, basally thin, gradually thicken towards the apex stems carrying 2 ranked leaves that blooms on a short, single flowered inflorescence arising from near the apex of the stem and carrying very showy, short lived flowers.

Similar to D josephinae but it differs in the single ridge on the labellum and the acute lip apex.
