Found in Thailand at elevations around 620 meters as a small sized, warm growing, tufted epiphyte with erect stems enveloped completely by imbricate leaves that blooms with several sinultaneously opening flowers arising from near the apex of the young stems and from along the stem of older leaf shedding stems
