Common Name or Meaning The Golden Slipper Dendrobium [refers to the golden lip] - In China Meng La Shi Hu

Flower Size 1 to 1.5" [2.5 to 3.8 cm]

Found in Yunnan province of China, Myanamar and Thailand on limestone at elevations around 1370 meters as a small sized, warm to cool growing lithophyte or rarely epiphyte with basally swollen pseudobulbs carrying 3 +, elliptic-lanceolate, acute leaves that blooms in the spring and summer on a slender, short, single floweed inflorescnece carrying short lived flowers
