Found in southern China and northern Vietnam as a miniature to small sized, warm to cool growing epiphyte with club-shaped, basally slender, thickening towards the apex, carrying elongate basally clasping leaves that bloom in the spring on a 1.6 to 2.8" [4 to 7 cm] long, laterally from the nodes all along leafless and leafy stems, 2 to 3 flowered inflorescence
