A rainforest epiphyte found in New Guinea at elevations of 400 to 800 meters on mossy trunks and branches of smooth barked trees in upper rainforests and is a small sized, hot to warm growing species that has 4 to 6, several angled,, semipendant, pale green then yellow with age, slendre basally and then thicker above psuedobulbs carrying 1" to 2" leaves and blooms in the winter and spring on an axillary, short, racemose few flowered inflorescence that arises from nodes near the apex of the cane, that carries 2 to 4, short-lived flowers. Water and fertilizer should be lessened somewhat in the winter months
