Common Name or Meaning The Hornet Like Dendrobium [refers to the shape of the lip]

Found in Sarawak Borneo in lowlands at elevations around 500 meters as a medium sized, hot to warm growing epiphyte with clustered, erect to spreading, subcylindrical, widest towards the apex, clavate, distinctly grooved stems carrying 4 to 7, oblong-elliptic, shortly and obtusely unequal at eh apex, deciduous, often purple in youth, slightly narrowing and cuneate at the base leaves that blooms in the late spring on a short, towards the apex, pendulous, peduncle 1.08" [2.7 cm] long, rachis .16 to .2" [4 to 5 mm] long, 1 to 2, 5 to 10 flowered inflorescence arising on leafy and leafless canes.
