Common Name The Thick Leafed Dendrobium

Flower Size .5" [1.25 cm]

Found in New Caledonia, Santa Cruz Islands and Vanuatu in wet humid montane forests along streams on trees at elevations of 30 to 900 meters as a small to giant sized, ho to warm growing epiphyte with clustered stems arising from a very short rhizome and has unequally bilobed, leathery leaves that twist and all face the same direction arising from near the apex of the stem and blooms in the fall, winter and late spring on a short, 1 to 2 flowered inflorescence that arises from opposite of the leaf bases and carries fragrant flowers.
