Common Name The Saffron-Yellow Dendrobium

Flower Size 1.6 to 2" [3.6 to 5 cm]

Found in Malaysia and southern Thailand as a lowland, small to large sized, hot growing epiphyte with pendant stems that narrows towards the base carrying many, bright green, lanceolate leaves that blooms on an axillary, 1/2" [1.25 cm] long, few [2 to 3] flowered inflorescence arising laterally on leafless canes with bright orange flowers in the fall.

Water needs to be reduced somewhat through the winter months and less fertilizer when the plant is not actively growing.
