Found in New Guinea at elevations around 1000 meters as a small sized, warm growing epiphyte with a branching stem carrying many, erect-patent, glabrous, fleshy, linear, obtuse, minutely and unequally bilobed apically leaves that blooms in the spring and summer on a short, lateral, single flowered inflorescence carrying short-lived flowers
