Common Name Dixon's Dendrobium [English Botanist 1900's]

Flower Size .4" [1 cm]

Endemic to northeastern Thailand at elevations of 1650 to 1800 meters as a miniature sized, cool growing epiphytic orchid that has tightly clustered stems carrying 4 leaves and blooms in the mid summer on axillary, 1.2 to 2" [3 to 5 cm] long, few to several [5 to 13] flowered inflorescence that arise from the nodes at the apex of the leafless cane with flowers that do not open fully and needs a short drier winter rest.

CAUTION I have no reference that has a flower closeup photo to be assured that the presented flower is correct so please use with caution!!
