Endemic to Northeastern Thailand at elevations of 1650 to 1800 meters this miniature, epiphytic orchid has tightly clustered stems carrying 4 leaves and blooms on axillary, 1.2 to 2" [3 to 5 cm] long, few to several [5 to 13] flowered inflorescence that arise from the nodes at the apex of the leafless cane with flowers that so not open fully occuring in the mid summer and needs a short drier winter rest.
