Common Name Refers to the inward bent to the arms on the column - The Hook-Shaped Dendrochilum

Found in the Philippines and Taiwan as a small sized, hot to cool growing epiphyte or lithophyte occuring at elevatons of 500 to 2300 meters with conical, densely clustered pseudobulbs carrying 2 oblong, tapering to a petiolate base leaves that blooms in the fall on a slender, arcuate, 6" [15 cm] long, densely many flowered inflorescence arising on a new growth with many [30], fragrant flowers arranged in 2 rows.
