Common Name or Meaning The Diamond Shaped Dendrobium [refers to the shape of the petals]

Flower Size 2" [5 cm]

Found in the Philippines at elevations of 500 to 1500 meters as a large sized, warm to cool growing epiphyte with upright to semi-pendulous stems carrying deciduous leaves that blooms on a short, arising from the leafless nodes, to 3 flowered inflorescence.

Very similar to D heterocarpum but differs in details of the lip callus and overall shape.
