Found in the Mt. Kinabalu area of Borneo in upper montane forests at elevations of 2100 to 3700 meters as a small sized, cold growing lithophyte with close set, elongate, fusiform pseudobulbs carrying a single apical, erect, grasslike, acute leaf that blooms on a terminal, erect, arching to pendent, densely many flowered inflorescence.
