Found in New Guinea on tree on hills at elevations of 50 to 150 meters as a miniature sized, hot growing epiphyte with slightly flattened stems carrying shiny, pale green, tapering narrowly ovate-lanceolate, bidentate apically leaves that blooms in the late winter and early spring on a short, few flowered inflorescence arising from the nodes near the apex opposite the leaves and carrying short-lived flowers
