Dendrobium foxii Ridl. 1900 SECTION Pedilonium
Plant and Flowers in situ Cameron Highlands Malaysia Photos by © David Kuehn

Common Name Fox's Dendrobium
Flower Size 1 to 1.6" [2.5 to 4 cm]
Found in the Malaysia at elevations of 900 to 1300 meters as a medium sized, hot to warm growing epiphyte with reddish, slender stems carrying several, delicate, lanceolate, shiny, dark green leaves that blooms on a 1/2 to 1" [1.25 to 2.5 cm] long, pale rose inflorescence with 3 to 10 flowers
I am not entirely convinced with this determination as all references say that the stem is reddish and the flower is white tinted with rose and there is no mention of yellow on the column. The photo was taken in the Cameron Highlands and all references give this species location as the Taiping hills, so all in all the ID is tenative at best.
