Found in Sumatra without elevational data with clustered, flattened, basally black becoming green above, quite broad in the lower third, flexuous stems carrying lanceolate, laterally flattened, dark green to blackish, unequally, obtusely bilobed apically, graduating smaller above leaves that blooms on very short, arising on leafless canes, single flowered inflorescence carrying flowers that are pale yellow brown to pale green with large purple spots on the lip .
