Common Name The Forked Dendrobium [refers to the three lined callus on center of the lip]

Flower Size 1.2" to 1.6" [3 to 4 cm]

Found in Sulawesi in elfin forests on volcanic slopes usually on tree branches at elevations of 600 to 1800 meters as a small to medium sized, warm to cool growing epiphyte with pendulous, branching, narrow stems carrying distichous, narrow, widely spaced, grasslike, linear to nearly lanceolate, unequally bidentate apically leaves that blooms in the winter and summer on an erect, lateral, 1.5" [3.75 cm] long, 2 to 3 flowered inflorescence arising along the stem to the tip so as to almost appear terminal.
