Flower Size 1.32" [3.3 cm] long

Found in Malaysia, Sumatra, Java and the Moluccas at elevations of 500 to 2000 meters as a medium to large sized, warm to cool growing epiphyte with thickest in the center stems carrying about 13, lanceolate, acute, unequally bilobed leaves that blooms in the winter on a very short, arising on the upper nodes, 2 to 3 flowered inflorescence.

Comber states that this species is unique in the Section Calcarifera because the lip is acuminate and acute as its apical margins are inrolled forming a sharp point
