Common Name Goodall's Dendrobium [British Biologist with Chimpanzees current]

Found in Papua New Guinea at elevations around 450 meters as a giant sized epiphyte with rather crowded, terete, elongate stems carrying alternating, linear to linear-lanceolate, acute, green tinged brownish purple, sessile, thin, rather stiff leaves that blooms in the late winter and earlier spring on short, 2 flowerd inflorescence arising from mid cane carrying sweetly coconut scented flowers.
