Found in New Guinea in montane forests at elevations around 800 meters as a large sized, warm growing epiphyte with pendulous, simple, curved, leafy stems carrying many, smooth, lanceolate, acute leaves that blooms in the later summer on a very short, 2 flowered inflorescence
