Found in Malaysia at elevations of 1220 to 1680 meters as a small sized, cool growing epiphyte with purplish, fractiflex apically stems carrying several, linear, closely to widely spaced, alternate leave that blooms in the spring on a 1.2" [3 cm] long, single flowered inflorescence arising on leafless stems
