Found in New Guinea at elevations around 40 to 150 meters as a medium sized, hot growing epiphyte with a short rhizome giving rise to thin, simple, slightly compressed, leafy stems carrying many erect-patent to subpatent, glabrous, narrowly linear, acute leaves that blooms in the late summer and fall on an axillary, short, compressed, subsessile 2 flowered inflorescence.

Schlechter states that the flowers are pale yellow.
