Common Name The Indragiri Dendrobium [A regency of Riau Indonesia]
Flower Size .5" [1.25 cm]
Found in the Andaman Islands, Thailand, Malaysia, Sumatra and Borneo in riverine forests at elevations around 900 meters as a medium sized, hot to warm growing epiphyte with very slender, leafy throughout stems carrying many narrow, dark green, papery, linear, smoewhat basally twisted leaves that blooms in the fall on numerous per cane, short, axillary 2 flowered inflorescence. The flowers of this species last only one day, unfortunately the photo at hand was taken a day late and the flowers are no longer open.
