Common Name The Spiney Leafed Dendrobium
Flower Size .8" [2 cm]
Found in the eastern Himalayas, Laos, Thailand, penninsular Malaysia, Borneo and Sumatra in peat swamp, hill, ridge-top and lower montane forests at elevations of 600 to 1520 meters as a small to medium sized, hot to warm growing epiphyte with thin to stout, zig-zag, branching stems carrying almost terete, flattened, acute, curved leaves all held in a single plane and bloms in the fall on a short, axillary to lateral, single flowered inflorescence areising at or near the apex of leafy stems and in small clusters on leafless stems.
