Common Name The Langbian Dendrobium [A Plateau in Vietnam]

Flower Size .2 to .3" [.5 to .7 cm]

Found in Vietnam in montane forests at elevations of 1300 to 1600 metrers as a miniature sized epiphyte with small pseudobulbs carrying 3 to 6 leaves that blooms on up to 3, on the apical portion, 4 to 9 flowered inflorescence.

Seidenfaden states that this species certainly is related to D monticola and could be conspecific with. More research needs to be done here.

CAUTION Seidenfaden & Smitinand cite this and D kratense to be conspecific but if the photos are correct then they are certainly separate species. I await more information.
