Common Name The Thin Stemmed Dendrobium - In China Ling Chun Shi Hu

Found in Nantou and Taidong Taiwan in montane forests on tree trunks and as a lithophyte on rocky cliffs in montane valleys at elevations around 600 to 1600 meters as a medium sized, warm to cool growing epiphyte with very slender, wiry ascending to arching to more or less pendulous, occasionally branched, leafy in the terminal half stems carrying 4 to 6 alternate, more or less pendulous, grasslike, persistent, linear, chartaceous, acute leaves that blooms in the summer on a lateral, .6" [1.5 cm] long, 1 to 2 flowered inflorescence arising on leafless canes
