Common Name The Large Flowered Dendrobium

Flower Size 2 to 3" [5 to 7.5 cm]

Found in New Caledonia, Santa Cruz Islands, Vanuatu and Wallis & Futna in coastal and lowland rain forests at elevations of sealevel to 500 meters as a medium to just large sized, hot to warm growing epiphyte with clustered, cane-like, slighly swollen basally stems carrying many, distichous, coriaceous, oblong to elliptic, unequally bilobed apically leaves articulated to the leaf sheath below that blooms in the spreing and early summer on an erect to suberect, 8.8 to 12.8" [22 to 32 cm] long, laxly 8 to 25 flowered inflorescence
