Found in New Guinea without locality as a miniature sized epiphyteclustered, thin, obscurely quadrangular, apically leafy stems carrying 2, subopposite, ovate-lanceolate, obtuse, thick, coriaceous, few nerved leaves that blooms on terminal?, short, single flowered inflorescence carrying.

Schlechter states that the flowers are either creamy yellow with a greenish orange-yellow spot and the other has red veins. He also states that this orchid is very similar to or may be the same as D hymenanthum.
