Common Name The Reflexed Petal Dendrobium

Flower Size .2" to .6" [.5 to 1.5 cm]

Found in western India at elevations around 1220 meters as a mini-miniature sized, warm growing epiphyte with conical to ovoid, purplish brown, clustered pseudobulbs that elongate just before blooming and are enveloped basally by sheaths that deteriorate to a network of fibers in time and carrying 2 apical, thick to thin, linear, oblong to lanceolate leaves that blooms in the winter on 1 to a few, slender, erect, branching, .8 to 4" [2 to 10 cm] long, 3 to 10 flowered inflorescence arising at near the apex of an elongate leafless pseudobulb and carrying long lasting, faintly to strongly scented flowers
