Common Name The Ovate Dendrobium
Flower Size .6 to .8" [1.5 to 2 cm]
Found in southwestern India at elevations of 50 to 1520 meters as a mini-miniature to small sized, hot to cool growing epiphyte with elongate, mauve-brown, often stout stems carrying many, deciduous, oblong-lanceoalte, alternate leaves that blooms in the fall on a 6" [15 cm] long, several to many flowered inflorescence arising from the side or near the apex of the stem
CAUTION This ID is tentative as I have no real references as to what this species should be.
