Common Name or Meaning Parnata's Dendrobium [New Guinean Original collector of species current]

Flower Size .6 to .72" [1.5 to 1.8 cm cm]

Found in Irian Jaya Indonesia at elevations around 200 meters as a hot growing epiphyte that blooms in the later summer on a 6 to 8" [15-20 cm] long, 5 to 10 flowered inflorescence carrying showy flowers with brown sepals and petals and a bright yellow lip.
