Found in Borneo in lowlands and lower montane forests at elevations of 10 to 300 meters as a miniature to small sized, hot growing epiphyte with dark pilose, grooved stems are completely enveloped by alternate leafbearing sheaths carrying many, terete, fleshy, linear, grooved, acute, dark green leaves that blooms on a very short inflorescence carrying 3 flowers
