Common Name or Meaning The Flat Dendrobium

Flower Size .6" [1.6 cm]

Found in Java, Sumatra and New Guinea in lowland forests at elevations around sea level to 800 meters as a small sized, hot to warm growing epiphyte with strongly compressed stems enveloped by tubular, strongly laterally compressed, slightly shorter than the internodes, truncate and broadly bilobed apically leaf sheaths and carrying lanceolate, coriaceous, half twisted and abruptly contracted basally leaves that blooms in the summer and fall on a lateral from the stem, short, 2 flowered inflorescence arising through a membraneous spathe and has minute floral bracts.
