Common Name or Meaning Poisson's Dendrobium [American Nurseryman current]

Found in New Caledonia in humid scrub forests at elevations of 400 to 900 meters as a mini-miniature to miniature sized, hot to warm growing epiphyte with basally swollen, nearly cylindrical above, in a straight line stems carrying 2 to 3 per growth, unequally bilobed apically leaves that blooms in the late winter and spring on one to several, zigzag, 2 to 5.2" [5 to 13 cm] laxly 2 to 6 flowered inflorescence.
