Found only in western Java in primary forests at elevations around 950 meters as a medium sized, warm growing epiphyte with erect in youth and pendant with age, basally very slender stems that gradually enlarge and flatten towards the apex carrying many, thin, lanceolate leaves that are widest towards the base and bloom in the early winter on very short, 2 flowered inflorescnece with the flowers held back to back.
