Common Name The False Dendrobium conanthum Dendrobium

Flower Size 1 ti 1.2" [2.5 to 3 cm]

Found in Sulawesi at lower elevations as a large to giant sized, hot to warm growing epiphyte with a spindle shaped stem narrowest at the apex and carrying many, dark green, thick, shiny, recurved margined leaves that blooms in the late winter and early spring on a horizontal to slightly erect, 9 to 12" [23 to 31 cm] long, laxly 25+ flowered inflorecence arising from the nodes towards the apex of the stem.
