Common Name or Meaning The Staff-Shaped Lip Dendrobium

Flower Size .52" [1.3 cm]

Found in New Guinea at elevations of 1300 to 1500 meters as a small sized, cool growing epiphyte with slender, fleshy, grooved with age, arising from a very short rhizome, leafy throughout stem carrying many lanceolate, acute leaves that blooms in the late summer and earlier fall on a short, 2 to 3 flowered inflorescence arising on the leafless stems.
