Common Name The Red-Rose Foot Dendrobium

Flower Size .6" [1.5 cm]

Found in northeastern New Guinea just below the mist forest zone on lower mossy tree branches at elevations of 450 to 1000 meters as a medium sized, pendant, hot to warm growing epiphyte with gray-brown to yellowish-green cane-like stems carrying many, yellowish-green, deciduous leaves dropping before blooming in the fall on an all along the stem and apically, short, 8 to 10 flowered inflorescence
