Common Name Rucker's Dendrobium [English Orchid Enthusiast 1800's]

Flower Size 1.4 to 1.6" [3.5 to 4 cm]

Found in Xizang province of China, Assam, eastern Himalayas, Bhutan, Myanmar and Laos? at elevations of 1300 to 1700 meters as a small to medium sized, cool growing epiphyte with long, slender, smooth, branching, becoming pendulous with age stems carrying entire, sessile, distichous, linear-lanceolate, acute to acuminate leaves that blooms in the late winter and spring on a short to .54" [1.3 cm] long, , 1 to 2 flowered inflorescence arising from the nodes near the apex of the stem and carrying fragrant flowers
