Common Name Rucker's Dendrobium [English Orchid Enthusiast 1800's]
Flower Size 1.4 to 1.6" [3.5 to 4 cm]
Found in Assam, eastern Himalayas, Myanamar and Laos? at elevations of 1300 to 1700 meters as a small to medium sized, warm growing epiphyte with long, slender, smooth, branching, becoming pendulous stems carrying linear-lanceolate, acute leaves that blooms i nthe late winter and spring on a short, 1 to 2 flowered inflorescence arising from the nodes near the apex of the stem and carries fragrant flowers
