Found in Java and Sumatra as a giant sized, warm to cool growing epiphyte with stiffly pendulous stems carrying green or gray, narrowly lanceoalte, thick, unequally bilobed, acute leaves that blooms in the late summer and early fall on very short, all along the stem, two flowered inflorescence with several, laterally compressed basal bracts and carrying short lived flowers that tough mentum to mentum with the upper flower resupinate and the lower nonresupinate
