Flower Size .4 to .6" [1 to 1.5 cm]
Found in Thailand, Malaysia, Vietnam and Sumatra at elevations around 1100 to 1400 meters as a medium sized, cool growing terrestrial with stem-like pseudobulbs carrying many, linear-lanceolate, minutely toothed apically leaves and are leafy towards the apex of the stem and blooms on a short, 1 to 3 flowered inflorescence arising from near the apex of leafless canes. This species requires moist sunny conditions and a decided winter rest
