Found on the island of Laret in the Tanimbar Group of Indonesia on limestone cliffs and trees at elevations below 100 meters as a giant sized, hot growing epiphyte or lithophyte with long, slender stems carrying a few persistent leaves held in the apical 1/4 of the stem that blooms on arching, elongate, to 30 flowered inflorescence arising from the apical nodes of the stem
