Found in New Guinea and Morotai island in the Moluccas at lower elevations as a large to giant sized, hot to warm growing epiphyte with erect, clustered stems carrying ovate-elliptic, alternate leaves that blooms on lateral, erect to suberect, 14" [35 cm] long, 8 to 12 flowwered inflorescence
