Common Name or Meaning The Bull Headed Dendrobium

Flower Size 2 to 2.6" [5 to 6.5 cm]

Found in the Philippines in coastal mangrove swamps and open woody plateaus at elevations below 300 meters as a large sized, hot growing epiphyte with cane-like, stiffly erect, cylindrical or strongly spindle shaped, basally brown orange stems carrying many, dark, shiny green, broad, thick, leathery, elliptical, unequally bilobed apically leaves that blooms in the spring on a from near the apex, axillary, erect, slightly fractiflex, 4 to 48" [10 to 122 cm] long, 6 to 30 flowered inflorescence arising from the nodes near the apex and carrying long-lasting flowers
